#WallpaperWednesday | Heading somewhere beautiful

Back for another year of wallpapers although I haven’t hit on a theme for this year’s set yet. So for today, I came across this truth.

“Difficult roads lead to beautiful destinations.”

For 2019, I already know there will be some tricky parts on my path as I head towards my goals. But I am one of those who believes in the journey. I prefer a car or train ride over an airplane any day. What I get to witness in the journey itself has often left me in awe and gratitude.

This quote makes me recall dirt roads of Eastern Tennessee that led to gorgeous swimming holes in lush forests off the beaten path. Or the narrow, pot-filled holes of a Caribbean island that lead to magical places typically shown as screensavers.

I know we can get somewhere beautiful if we’re willing keep heading down these roads.
