Part of our family countdown to Christmas includes holiday movies. Now, there are many we watch separately – I don’t do the Grinch I don’t care what version you show me and I know my 9yo has no interested in small country town romances that Hallmark delivers. So here’s our list for 2019 of the nightly family holiday tales we’ll be enjoying!

  5. The Best Christmas Pageant Ever | YouTube – this is our current bedtime read aloud book so thought would be fun to find the special for my son to have a little context.
  6. White Christmas | Netflix – this classic ranks in my top 3 for season!

  8. Disney’s The Nutcracker And The Four Realms | Netflix – one of the 9yo’s favorites from last year; my first time to watch
  9. It’s a Wonderful Life | Amazon Prime – this classic ranks in my top 3 for season!
  10. The Man who Invented Christmas | Amazon Prime – loved this last year so time to see if the boy does too
  11. The Flintstones’ Christmas Special | Amazon Prime – gotta love the irony of prehistoric people celebrating Christmas – ho ho ho!
