The truth is life is challenging right now. And yet it is not.

I truly feel support right now to keep moving forward. I look around the world and there is so much in my life to be grateful for. More and more I send a fervent word of thanks to God for the ability to buy groceries that I want.

To be able to keep my child warm and a roof that does not leak over our heads. I’m grateful my aging dog is still with us and I can feed and care for her.

I am grateful I can afford the gas to go into my car.

I am grateful for my own computer so I do not need to travel to the library. I can access information anytime I desire. I have a great library. My son has a good school. I can wear what I want as a woman. I can pray and give thanks to the god of my choosing.

So yes, I see the truth of the world. It’s darkness. It’s light.

And the truth is I’m holding my lighter here in the dark, working to illuminate all that surrounds me and focus on making the world brighter, lighter and more joyful.

Blessings.
