She said she would follow him forever.
Until the day he took her to the edge of a cliff.
Then she realized her life meant something to her.
Before that moment, she had meant little to herself.
A worthless piece of bone wrapped in a maxi dress willing to follow this man beyond common sense, beyond nonsense.
She found in this moment at the edge of the cliff, herself.
And she would always be grateful to him for that.
But that was all.
After that, she only followed herself.
She followed the beating of her heart. The places that made it race. The events that brought it joy.
She became truly happy then. Truly free.
And far more deeply connected to Divine for that was what she was truly following. The Divine within that led her to herself and her highest good.
